NEC finally introduced the long awaited "In-Skin" Voice Mail system. Here are the details:
There are two versions
A: 16 Ports with 8 Hours of storage time
B: 16 ports with 16 Hours of storage time
Advantages: 
1. Does not require analog ports to interface with the control unit
2. Offers "Remote Notification" to a Pager and/or Cell/Telephone 
3. Very affordable price
4. Flawless automatic integration. Up and running in seconds 
5. Multi-tier Menu programming 
 

Panasonic has two competing phone system divisions: In the US, phone equipment with model numbers beginning with KX-T are distributed by Panasonic's Communication Systems Division, CSD and phone equipment with model numbers beginning with VB are distributed by Panasonic's Digital Business Systems division, DBS. The two lines are designed, distributed and sold by different people. The DBS division was shut down at the end of March, 2003. Omni Telecommunications does not sell or support DBS Products. We concentrate on the Panasonic KX-T phone systems.
